Arunachal Pradesh falls under restricted area, official permission is required to enter the state, therefore the visitors other than natives of Arunachal Pradesh are required to obtain an Inner Line Permit ( ILP ) to enter Arunachal Pradesh. The Permit is granted as a routine for the tourists and so it should not deter any tourist from coming to Arunachal Pradesh. Innerline Permits are issued by the Secretary (Political), Government of Arunachal Pradesh, respective Deputy Commissioner and Additional Deputy Commissioner of the Districts. These can also be obtained from Resident Commissioner's office / Deputy Resident Commissioner & Liaison Offices.

    Online ILP Application Steps:

Please Fill Correct information and ensure that you have entered the email ID. The email ID will be varified before further processing of the Application.Your login information will be sent to the email ID entered while filling the form.

Scan the appropriate documents and Photograph and upload the actual sizes. For eg. PAN card or Driving Licenses should not be uploaded in A4 size. After scanning its actual size should be selected for upload.

On submission of the application, it will be processed by the concerned authority and the status can be monitored via "Check Online Application Status".

On Approval of your application the "Payment" link, which can be viewed after login will be activated and online payment has to be made for approval and issuance of Permit.

After payment and on Approval the "Print" link will be activated for printing of the permit, which can be viewed after login. One must carry the originals of the documents uploaded and produce it in the gate for varification by officials.
